I finally uploaded my new video promoting my new website to YouTube.

My new product is “How To Make $100 More Every Month” and you can see it at http://hundredmore.com

It is a guide to help anyone who has never made money online before to quickly set up a profit pulling website to help them make $100 more a month. Obviously I added on the fact that this can be set up by virtually anyone for absolutely no cost since most of you know that I’ve done it before … several times.

I expect to see 1 sale per 100 views, so I am a long way from making any money from this website because I solely rely on YouTube to drive me traffic. From my 2 other videos, the conversion rate is roughly slightly more than 1%, so I am certain that this video will convert at about the same rate. You see the beauty of this model is that once it is set up, it will run on complete autopilot indefinitely… basically forever… as long as my website is up and running. This means that it will keep generating $9.97 for every 100 views.

Isn’t that great?

Yup, I know I am almost 1 week late with this post…. but you’ll understand…

You see, I was just over worked last week. I had this 5 day project going, 3 client’s betting accounts to manage and I decide to start putting my younger son down for his afternoon nap myself. Don’t forget I’ve also got my 2 subscription websites to deal with, people rely on me to tell them what to do later in the day when the races start…this is everyday!
5 Day Project

I had to create the product and keep updating this blog about how it was to be done. While most of the product was already written earlier, I still needed to present it properly in the format of an ebook so that the person reading it would understand it.

Then I had to hop over here and explain each step the 5 Day Project and also write it in a way that a total beginner would understand.

Managed Betting Accounts

Last week was a roller coaster for me where the betting accounts were concerned because of the time and attention it took for me to monitor these 3 accounts. If you add my own account in that would make 4 accounts. This week I’ve accepted one more account! LOL…

My Dear Son

Over here in Malaysia we are blessed with the luxury of having live in household help for a very small cost. We have an indonesian lady who works for us and basically runs the entire household. Here monthly wage is only $150 but that does not include all the Agency fees that we need to pay and her air fare. We also pay for anything else that she needs which includes toiletries, food, clothes and medical fees.

Pawit, our helper is due to return to Indonesia in June and we might be without help for a few weeks. She has been putting Aaron down for his nap since he was born in Oct 06, so I’ve decided to take over so that we will have a smooth transition when our new helper arrives. And as all moms would know … it is not easy trying to get a toddler to fall asleep!

Subscription Sites

I run 2 subscription websites, one that sends out selections for horses that will not win and the other is a selection service for horses that will win. It takes me at least an hour and a half to scrutinize the daily race forms before I can make my picks… This 2 websites account for half of my ‘pay’ , so I am not complaining!

Now I am sure you can picture how much I had on my plate last week!

So then, let’s get started.

FTP and Paypal

Now that you’ve created the website/sales page, you’ll need to upload it to your website. You can use a free FTP software called Filezilla Client, it is easy to use and very reliable.

Once you have uploaded your sales page, please check you Paypal link. Make sure that it is set up to pay you and not someone else. Also don’t forget to set up the download page so that the buyer knows where to go after paying to download the product.

YouTube Video

Now that you have a product to sell, you’ll need to get your product infront of as many people as possible otherwise you’ll never make a single sale.

You can choose to create the video in 2 ways. Either in a form of presentation or just video yourself presenting your product. In this video you’ll need to point out the benefits of your product and/or what problems it will help your potential buyer solve.

You can use your digital camera to shoot this video, most of them have that feature now.

After you’ve created this video you’ll need to transfer it to your computer and edit it with Windows Movie Maker. You’ll need to add your website link to your video so that people know where to go after the video.

Once you’ve completed the video, all that you need to do is to upload it to YouTube.

Then sit back and wait. I only got my first sale after 2 whole weeks, I almost gave up. BUT that same free website ended up paying me almost $1000 in the last 8 months.

Since I consider it as free money, I think great to have the extra $1000. So be patient, the money will come in.

So off you go, go make a few videos and start uploading them to YouTube under different tags.

Wow! Fourth day already. I must admit I am slacking behind a little. I have not even started to make my webpage yet and I’ve got a product to launch tommorow.

I’ve found that if I give myself datelines to meet, I am a whole lot more productive!

OK, today you’ll need to elaborate on the key point list that you made yesterday. Keep your website simple and pleasing to the eye. Don’t worry too much about the design and layout, you can improve on it later on.

Just keep your sales pitch real and write it in such a way that it clearly states the benefits of purchasing your product. If you read it to yourself and you can’t convince yourself, then you are going to have a problem convincing anyone to part with their money to buy your product.

I’ve kept my sales page pretty much in its original state since I created my first free website. There is no banner and I only added the ebook cover much later on.

So that’s pretty much it, once you’ve created the website you just need to upload it via FTP and your product is ready to sell!

By the way, my blog has had a significant increase in traffic of late but all of you are just quite… can you shout out by leaving a comment so that I know that your are there!

Today you’ll need to take out your key points from yesterday and eleborate on them.

The aim is to get at least half of the ebook finished today so that we can keep to the deadline.

To make your ebook interesting and an easy read, please do not use small fonts or font’s that are too large. I’ve found that keeping to 12 or 14 is alright.

Use colour and pictures to make the ebook more interesting and help the reader stay focused while reading it. You can insert some clipart with some relevant pictures to help the reader understand better.

I forgot to mention the obvious yesterday, you should all be using Microsoft Word as it is easy to use and format. You can also insert headers and footers that can be really helpful.

When you are writing the content for your ebook, try to be as expressive as possible and give examples. It is much easier for the reader to understand when you use pictures and examples.

If you hit a dead end and don’t know what to write take a break and move on to the next part, you can always go back to finish off where you stopped.

Do remember that this 5 day project is going to be making you money, so keep at it.

There is average search volume for my keyword, which is a good start.

So I’ll be writing my introduction and table of contents for today. I won’t be doing the key points as most of the ebook has been written already.

Day One -  Let’s Get Started

The first thing that you’ll need to do is to check if the topic that you are going to write about has any search traffic. If there is little or no search traffic, there is almost no way that you are going to sell anything.

Go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal 

Once you key in the search term(keywords) that you think people will be looking for (eg. scrapbooking), Google will provide you with a list of suggested keywords that are currently beong searched. You’ll need to have at least ‘low’ volume of searches before you decided that it is a good topic to write about.

Just hover over the results like in the picture above and it will indicate if it is LOW, AVERAGE or HIGH.

We are looking for at least Low. Of course, if you can get ‘average’ that would be ideal.

Now that we have a topic that we are going to write about, you’ll need to have a short layout of your ebook/report. For this example we are going to use an ebook call “How To Potty Train Your Baby in 3 Days”

If I were to write this ebook, I’ll need to create Table Of Contents first. This is sort of like baking a cake. You need a recipe, but here we need a Table Of Contents.

Here is the Table Of Contents for “How To Potty Train Your Baby in 3 Days”;

Introduction

Potty Training ‘Tools’

Potty Training Mindset

Day 1  -  Introduction to Potty and Trial Run plus Rewards!

Day 2 - More Fun With the Potty, plus more Rewards!

Day 3 - Positive Reinforcement, Rewards and Hugs!

Conclusion

Final Thought 

This is just an example of what I would do if I were to write “How To Potty Train Your Baby in 3 Days”.

Once you have your Table Of Contents, then you can now visualise what you need to write about for each step of the way.

For day one you will write the introduction only. Your introduction to the ebook should include your experience with the ’subject/topic’ and what you hope to help the reader achieve from reading your ebook.

The next part of day one is homework. To help you through the writing of the ebook, you’ll now write down the key points for the body of your ebook.

The key points of discussion are the important points that you’ll eleborate upon within each part of the ebook.

In the example above , “How To Potty Train Your Baby in 3 Days”

I would break it down to Day 1 , Day 2 and Day 3.

From there, each Day will have all the important points that I want to touch on and eleborate further when I write the ebook out.

Only do this for the body of the ebook, you don’t need to do it for the conclusion.
