Sep 23rd, 2008 Warning Signs – When You Need 50 Sit Ups A Day
Most people who know me think that I am skinny and for a good reason too. For most of the last 12 months I’ve weight 45-46kg which is not the ideal weight for a 162cm girl.
So I made several attempts to gain weight over the last year and have had some success recently as I now weigh 49kgs. I recently stepped onto the weighing scale to see how I was progressing and was pretty delighted to see the needle almost reaching 50 but then I’ve also noticed that my contours (you’ll see my illustrations below) have changed too. Much to my dismay, the extra 3kgs (mostly from chocolates and carbonated drinks) has now been distributed lumped on my abdominal area.
Of course it doesn’t help that I am a mother of 2 and all the skin is so stretched there around the tummy, so any extra fat tend to have meets at my stomach area (where there used to be a six pack)! This has spurred me to take action by cycling on the cycling machine at least twice a week for 20 mins a session while watching Ellen Degeneres… (only done 3 sessions so far)
Suddenly today, it dawned on me that I should be doing sit ups NOT cycling!!! Dumbass… So just now before my shower I huffed and puffed to 50 sit ups.
While in the shower later, this is what I saw. Please note that this is a P18 image, to be seen under parental guidance only.
First let me apologize because I am really bad with graphics and can’t draw to save my life! But they will give you a good idea of what I am talking about.

Please stand up now, take off your clothes and look down. (make sure you are at home ok!) Oh, by the way…this is for women not men. Hmmnn…maybe if they are seriously over weight too, then they would also have the black lines!
If what you see when looking down looks very similar to the picture above, then it is highly recommended that you immediately do 50 sit ups. Do 50 sit ups a day for 30 days and I think you’ll end up looking like the picture below. (I am not sure of outcome yet because it is only day 1 for me today).
After a painful 1500 sit ups, this is what you should see when you take off your clothes and look down again.

Please note that you SHOULD NOT look down in the shower from Day 1 till Day 30 , during the entire length of this regime. This will ensure that you will be pleasently suprised on Day 30!
Quickly then…take off your clothes and look… And tell me what you see!
